ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Gracen 👉 Recent college graduate, entrepreneur, and professional artist. Of those three things, being a college graduate takes the cake for most challenging. I adore learning and believe that education is paramount but college was not my cup of tea. It was more like being forced to sip on a cup of molten hot lava rather than a soothing chamomile… but I digress. To add some enjoyment to my college life, I decided to start a business!

Cue the creation of Grae’s Design Space now known as Gracen Leigh Art

I taught myself what seemed important and filled in the gaps with each new project I took on. From logo design to brochure layout. Banner design to business card. Website creation to children’s book illustration. I’ve done it all. Each new client taught me a lesson that has laid the foundation for the business that I am proud to call my own.

It’s so fun to incorporate my artistic style into someone else’s written story! I guess that’s what makes each artist unique. We can tell the same story but with slightly different “flavors.” #fishinmyshoe #childrensbookillustration #illustration

  3. Horses and I don’t get along even though everyone else in my family loves them🐴

  4. Running helps my sanity (which seems kind of illogical?)

  5. I hated undergrad but I’m ecstatic to get my Master’s (riddle me that🧐)

  9. I cried when I didn’t get my letter to Hogwarts
